Homestead Florida is a remarkable but often forgotten part of Miami. Tourists who think of Miami often mention neighborhoods like Wynwood, South Beach, but often gloss over these less “popular” areas, which still have so much to offer. It’s a rich agricultural history and is renowned for its farms, nurseries, and fruit stands,, historical landmarks, and is adjacent to the Homestead Air Reserve Base.
